Case Study: Central Park Auckland
Challenge:
Building 8 at Central Park was operating with an outdated Building Management System (BMS) that offered limited visibility and control. Upon assuming the building contract, CBS was tasked with investigating unusually high power consumption. The assessment revealed multiple failed BMS points, causing key plant equipment to run continuously and waste significant energy. The legacy front-end interface provided minimal operational insight, making it difficult to detect or correct these inefficiencies in real time.
Solution:
CBS implemented a modern, cloud-based BMS to replace the obsolete system. The new platform delivers comprehensive visibility of building operations, enhanced automation, and real-time performance monitoring. With secure remote access, facility managers can now monitor, diagnose, and adjust building systems from any location.
Result:
Following the BMS upgrade, Building 8 achieved a substantial reduction in power consumption and improved system reliability.
